Terms and Conditions

1. General Booking Conditions

All bookings made through Porto Entre Amigos are subject to these terms and conditions. By proceeding with a booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Pricing and Payment

• Prices are as listed on our website and are subject to change without prior notice.
• For tips-based tours, payment is made directly to your guide at the end of the tour.
• For other tours, payment details and instructions will be provided upon booking confirmation. We accept various payment methods, which will be communicated at that time.
• All prices are in Euros (€) unless otherwise specified.

3. Cancellation and Refunds

• Walking Tour: Free cancellation up to 1 hour before the scheduled tour start time.
• Food & Fado Tours: Free cancellation up to 4 hours before the scheduled tour start time.
• Cancellations made after the specified deadline or no-shows will not be eligible for a refund.
• To cancel or modify a booking, please contact us via our Contact page or email.
• Porto Entre Amigos reserves the right to cancel or reschedule tours due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., extreme weather, guide illness). In such cases, guests will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.

4. Tour Participation

• Guests are required to arrive at the designated meeting point at least 10 minutes before the scheduled tour start time. Late arrivals may miss the tour, and no refunds will be issued.
• Tours operate rain or shine. Please dress appropriately for the weather conditions.
• Comfortable walking shoes are highly recommended for all tours, especially walking and food tours, as Porto involves hills and cobblestones.
• Guests are responsible for their personal belongings during the tour. Porto Entre Amigos is not liable for any loss, damage, or theft of personal property.
• Guests must inform us of any dietary restrictions, allergies, or mobility concerns at the time of booking in the 'Additional Notes' section. While we strive to accommodate, we cannot guarantee all requests can be met, especially for last-minute notifications.
• Porto Entre Amigos reserves the right to refuse participation to any guest who is disruptive, intoxicated, or poses a risk to themselves or others.

5. Photography and Videography

During tours, our guides may take photos or videos for promotional purposes. By participating in our tours, you consent to the use of your image in such materials. If you prefer not to be photographed or filmed, please inform your guide at the beginning of the tour.

6. Liability

Porto Entre Amigos acts only as an organizer of tours and is not responsible for any injury, loss, damage, accident, delay, or irregularity that may be caused by any person or entity during the tour. Guests participate in tours at their own risk.

7. Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Personal information collected during the booking process will be used solely for the purpose of facilitating your tour and will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.

8. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Portugal. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Porto, Portugal.
